The Irken Standard Calendar was the standard measurement of time in the galaxy. It centered around the Irken solar cycle. The Irken solar cycle was 970 days long with a day consisting of 24 standard hours. The most recent of these calendar eras used the Battle of Irk as its epoch, or "year zero". BBI stands for Before the Battle of Irk, and ABI stands for After the Battle of Irk.
