After his desertion, Cau took on the alias of "Mocte" and attempted to escape the Alliance's conquered regions to find a more peaceful life, only to find himself sold into slavery and be transported to Terrae (Earth).

Appearnce[]

Cauhatl is slimmed built  with green scales, a round face, yellow reptillian eyes, sharp teeth, dark green dreadlocks and a tail. He also wears a grey vest, an ammo belt, green pants and wears no shoes.

Personaility[]

Cauhatl is a vicous, bloodthirsty and violent being. While serving in the army, he was initially loyal to their goals until he grew tired and disgusted of the atrocities the Alliance had committed in the name of conquest. After being tried by his superiors for refusing to commit genocide on an innocent village located on a remote planet, Cauhatl lost faith in his people and began to hate them for what they did to the species they terrorized, becoming more and more disillusioned as the years grind on.

Trivia[]

  • Orginally named "Rājduk" durring production, the protagonist's name was changed to Cauhatl, but later to Motce (which was his alias) fit the show's allegory of Hernan Cortes's conquest of Mesoamerica.
  • His alais Motce is a basis of Moctezuma II, whom was the the ninth tlatoani or ruler of Tenochtitlan, reigning from 1502 to 1520 durring  first contact between indigenous civilizations of Mesoamerica and Europeans took place during his reign, and he was killed during the initial stages of the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, when conquistador Hernán Cortés and his men fought to escape from the Aztec capital Tenochtitlan. The portrayal of Moctezuma in history has mostly been colored by his role as ruler of a defeated nation, and many sources describe him as weak-willed and indecisive. The biases of some historical sources make it difficult to understand his actions during the Spanish invasion. However unlike Moctezuma's usual portrayals, Motce is a strong willed and rebellious individual who would rather die than be captured.
  • His real name Cau hatl is a basis of the word "Cuauhcoatl", which means "Descending Serpent" in Nahuatl. The word itself is an amalgamation of the names of Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec rular of Tenochtitlan as well as Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec god of wind, air, and learning.
